African Blood Lily

Scadoxus multiflorus

Origin: Tropical Africa

One of Africa's most dramatic flowering bulbs. Produces a perfect sphere of up to 200 tiny red flowers on a bare stem — before the leaves even appear. A true showstopper that looks almost unreal. Native to tropical Africa including Rwanda's forests. Goes dormant in dry season. Perfect for Kigali's climate cycle.
